About Us

The Goat Works is owned and managed by Brad and Alana Fowler, both native Nevada County residents, who are dedicated to sustainable agricultural practices in the sierra foothills.

Brad, the business manager,has a business degree from Sierra College and is experienced in contract grazing.

Alana, the herd health manager, majored in animal science and has over 15 years experience in raising and caring for livestock.

Brad and Alana both actively volunteer with local 4-H and FFA organizations and are members of the Nevada County Livestock Producers, Nevada County Ag Youth Boosters and Tahoe Cattlemens Association.
